What you need:
- 8 cups of fresh broccoli florets (I did not have 8 cups. I actually took the lazy route, as always, and used the broccoli already in the steamer bag. This may have been why Keith wasn't thrilled with the recipe. I think I used to much of the mixture on it.)
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp. lime juice (as I said I think I'll try lemon juice next just to try. Growing up I was a waitress for one night at a small bed and breakfast type place that served suppers and they needed help for an evening. Anyway, they made this delicious lemon broccoli dish, I'm pretty sure I ate all the leftovers and I've been trying to find a recipe similar ever since. I'm hoping this is it!)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Steam broccoli however you do it. Personally I poke holes in my bag and put it in the microwave...I'm sure my dad would be appalled...
- In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients.
- Drizzle butter mixture over broccoli; toss to coat.
