Baby Shower

We had our first baby shower last weekend and it was wonderful! My parents officially moved into their new house Friday night. Okay, the Pittman boys officially moved them. They moved all of the big furniture and we spent Friday night in the new house! It was pretty awesome. Saturday we had coffee with grandma before working around the new house. Okay they worked I took a nap. Sunday we had our baby shower before taking maternity pictures with Photography with Becca. I can't wait to get them all back and will post some. The previews she gave us our great!!
Kolby and I went back to the old house to take a nap where it was nice and quiet. Yep, that's my belly. My shirts don't cover it like they used too.

The baby shower was put on by my Aunt Mara and she really out did herself. It was perfect. Okay, I can't figure out how to turn pictures so turn your head when needed. The theme was Snips, Snails, and Puppy Dog Tails. Everything was little boy or puppy theme.

Aunt Mara and I beside her game prizes! Keith decorated this area. The prizes were jars to make mud pie cookies!
Keith even helped prepare some of the snacks! Here he is making dirt and worms. YUM!
Food table. We had donuts, banana bread, fruit cups (from Aunt Ronda), puppy chow, mini quiches, bacon wraps, and dirt and worms. Everything was delicious!
Baby Pittman and his parents were spoiled!!
From left to right: Lu (my mom's co-worker) Pam (Keith's mom), Whitney and Rachel (my friends from way back!)
Left to Right: LeaAnn, Rebecca, Lori C., and Marilynn (all family)
Left to right: Billie and Gwen (my mom's friends), Grandma W. (aka Grandma Nass), and Lu.
Opening gifts. We received a lot of very generous gifts.
At the end of the shower while Mara was loading up Kolby hopped into her van and took his usual spot in the driver's seat. Guess he wanted to go to Des Moines. What we aren't sure of is how he got into the van. Mara said the doors were all closed and if she had left a door open everything was closed by the time we found him, meaning he closed the doors after himself...
Tired after a big weekend! Yes, G'ma allowed Kolby onto her new couch.
When we were taking maternity photos Becca jokingly asked if Kolby would lay on my stomach for a picture. (We took pictures at my parents farm which means he doesn't EVER sit still). I sent her this picture of the GSP Aunt Mara found for baby. This is the closest we could get!
He was so tired (as was I)
 Cuddling with Grandma!
This is a bit out of order but Grandma made this wonderful 4-wheeler diaper cake! She's amazing!
