Wow! Time goes by so fast! We're just days away from 30 weeks. That means baby will be here within the next 11 weeks. Whoa! Just a few updates.

| 27 weeks. This was taken on Halloween. Just think next year we will be dressing up a little one! Can't wait to pick out a costume. |

| Maggie and I relaxing. She loves to cuddle on my belly. This was a different week. Keith had off so he spent most of the week at his parents and my parents working on projects. His friend from Kentucky was also back so he spent quite a bit of time with him. That meant Maggie and I were alone for most of the week. We did enjoy the quiet but started to miss our boys. I ended up taking Wednesday and half of Thursday off just to sleep. I literally slept 20 hours on Wednesday. |

29 weeks. Can you tell it was a long day? I was at a conference for work all day and then we had our last childbirth education class (the classes were great by the way!) I was tired and uncomfortable. Baby is currently laying sideways (I believe it is called transverse??) and some body part is pushing on my right rib cage, liver, whatever else is up there. I've found if I sit to long it's very uncomfortable but if I stand or lay down it feels better. Just wish I could lay down at work all day!
I had my 29 week appointment on Monday. Since it was Veteran's Day my mom and I both had off so she came down to work around my house and go to my appointment to hear the heartbeat. I have a new OB and I think I'll be happy with her. She seems nice, funny, and competent. We learned I've gained a good portion of weight...then measured the baby. She said he was measuring small but since he is laying sideways it makes it hard to measure him. She didn't seem concerned so I think he's okay. She then started to try and hear the heartbeat and little man decided to be a bit of a stinker. She tried and tried forever and couldn't find his heartbeat. No worries, she heard his pulse and it was very strong and loud! She said it was in the 140s but she couldn't ever get his heartbeat. She said his heart was "hiding" somewhere. I'm pretty sure it's behind my right rib...It was a little disappointing my mom didn't get to hear the lub dub of the heart but she did get to hear the pulse which was still neat. I go back the first week of December and then start having appointments every two weeks. Baby is moving and grooving all of the time! He's starting to move when I'm sitting or when I'm moving. In the past it was only if I was sitting. You can also see him moving more often. His kicks are getting stronger, every once in awhile it's a BIG kick that kinda hurts!
My mom and I spent the rest of the day taking Maggie to the vet (for her regular appointment) and then working around the house. Maggie has gained 3lbs in the last year and was told to stop growing and start exercising by the vet:). My mom and I cleaned out the pantry and organized it before getting the kitchen organized. It was a big project but so nice to have done! We were able to find room in our little kitchen for baby stuff which was great!
I'm spending today working in the baby's room trying to organize and put things away!
