I decided our new red room needed some artwork so I went online and found this saying. I really like using the canvas to decorate as it is quick, easy, and inexpensive. I started by painting the canvas tan and the wrote the quote with brown sharpie. The sharpie wasn't working great so I bought a brown fabric pen that worked GREAT! Will be using this from now on! The last two didn't turn out perfect because of the sharpie but I think they're fine for now. May replace when I'm feeling ambious. Am wondering if I should add some decoration to the canvas's...thoughts?
Whoops! I meant to turn this one. Tilt your computers:) I had an extra piece of canvas I wanted to use so I found this great quote online. Our marriage sermon was about sheltering each other during storms so I thought it applied. I decided it would work well in our Oregon Coast bathroom. I'm not thrilled with how it turned out. May have to come up with another way to display the quote.
This is a project in the works. I found the idea in a book. You make a blanket on one side and then attach a tablecloth to the other. You can have a picnic on one side and a nap on the other. I decided to use some old towels inside of buy new material. I'm working on sewing them together. After that I will sew one of the hand towels on to make a pocket. Then they said to velcro the tablecloth to the towels. That way you can wash the towels. I thought this would come in handy on our vacation next week to South Dakota!
