Craft Day!

Now that our list of "to do" projects on the house is getting smaller and since it is to hot to be outside I've been working on some craft projects. Here are a couple that I have finished. Will post more as I finish them!
I decided the new puppy needed a blankie for his bed and kennel so I found some adorable puppy fabric and made a blanket. One side is cotton and the other soft flannel. This puppy may be a little spoiled. :) Then I felt bad that Maggie didn't have her own blanket so I found some fabric for her. Again one side is cotton (for summer) and the other is flannel (for winter). I thought this would go nicely on "her spot" on the couch to keep cat hair off.

This is out of order but I can't figure out how to move it down. Keith brought home this old saw from the local antique store. He told me he wanted a pheasant scene painted on it (and I was supposed to do it). I'm not sure where he got the idea that I could paint???as I am NOT artistic! After lots of trial and error here is my final result! It will go downstairs in Keith's man-cave.

Maggie liked the puppy's blanket! She is blurry because she never sits still!

Mags was VERY helpful while I was sewing. She sat right behind the machine and keep trying to grab the needle with her paw. I had to sew with one hand covering the needle.

More pictures to come soon!
