Tropical Ham Sandwiches

 This combination doesn't seem like it would go together (and doesn't look like it) but it is surprisingly good! Maggie also enjoyed this recipe as she ate all of the ham I accidently dropped while cooking...pretty sure she ate enough ham she about turned into a pig.

What you need:
·         1-1/2 lbs cooked ham, finely chopped (I would recommend pre-chopped)
·         1 cup brown sugar, packed
·         ½ cup Dijon mustard
·         ¼ cup green pepper, diced
·         1 T. diced, minced onion
·         20 oz. can crushed pineapple
·         12 sandwich buns

What you need to do:

Mix all ingredients except buns in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low setting for 3 to 4 hours. Uncover and cook on high setting for 15 to 30 minutes, until sauce is thickened. Stir and serve on buns.
