This morning Kolby hit the knobs for our gas burners lighting one of them. I had run to the bathroom (he seems to wait to be extra ornery until I have to use the restroom). I had just recently scolded Kolby for attempting to steal our butter braid off the stove and thought he had let it go. Nope, all the sudden I hear the tell tale clicking of the burner being lit. I ran out into the kitchen to find one of the burners on medium/high with Kolby attempting to grab the butter braid. He is lucky 1. he didn't burn himself and 2. that he didn't set anything else on fire! I am thankful that the towel Keith usually leaves on top of the stove (even though I tell him not to) was not on top of the stove! Otherwise, we would be short one towel!
Needless to say while out running errands I stopped at the hardware store and picked up knob covers. Hopefully, these do the trick! I guess we're just a few years ahead with the baby proofing!
