Donuts

Keith has been asking me to make him donuts for months and I couldn't ever find an easy enough recipe. Finally though I found a recipe on Pinterest and thought I'd give it a try. It was very easy and a big hit!

What you need:
  • Grands Bisquits. I used the homestyle ones. The recipe said do not buy the flaky ones.
  • Butter. 4 Tablespoons for every 8 biscuits
  • Cinnamin and sugar combination to your liking.
  • Vegetable oil
What you do:
Take the biscuits out and cut out holes in the center. You could probably make donut holes with these. Put half an inch of oil in the skillet/frying pan and heat it up. Once it is warm put dough in and let it sit until browned. Then flip over and brown that side. Once browned on both sides set out on paper towel. Once cool enough to the touch dip in melted butter. After the butter dip in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Then let sit and enjoy!

You could probably also make some sort of frosting to put on. Maybe I'll try in the future.
