Eight Can Soup

Eight Can Soup- -another of Maggie's favorites.

Eight Can Soup is from the church cookbook and is one of my favorites because its quick, yummy, and makes plenty of leftovers.

Need:
  • 1 can of whole kernel corn
  • 1 can of green beans
  • 1 can of diced or sliced potatoes
  • 1 can diced tomatos (I don't like them so we leave these out)
  • 1 can of Veg-all
  • 1 can of Campbell's old fashioned vegetable soup (This can be hard to find so stock up when you do find it. I also learned don't try to replace it with regular vegetable soup. It must be old fashioned.)
  • 1 can of hormel chili with beans
  • 1 can of hormel chili without beans.
What to do:
-Dump all cans, including liquid into a pot. Mix together and heat thoroughly. I have found putting it in the crockpot, mixing together, and letting it warm on low for a couple hours works great. We also like to eat this with french bread or rolls. The cookbook says you can freeze, usually we just eat on it during the week.
