Dad (Scott A Carlson's) Chicken Alfredo

This is a favorite in the Pittman household. Keith requests it at least every two weeks. Luckily its easy and yummy! On a side note, I made this the first night Maggie came to our house and she meowed the entire time I was cooking. I thought she was sad and scared living in a new place...turns out she wanted a bit of alfredo!

Need:
-Grilled chicken breasts cut into 1/4inch slices (I use precooked chicken from a package-easier and quicker)
-1/2 cup of butter
-1 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese (grated)
-2 to 3 cups of half and half
-Barilla fettuccine pasta

What to do:
Melt stick of butter in large saucepan. Add half and half and cook over medium heat until half and half starts to bubble. Stir in Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly.  (Some Parmesan cheese melts faster than others). Reduce heat, cover, simmer. Stirring occasionally until cheese is melted. Add milk if it is to thick. Prepare pasta as directed and mix together. Throw in chicken and enjoy!
